Jumping Jacks

Shoulderscalveship abductors/adductors N/A (mobility/recovery)
i.

How to Do It

Stand tall, feet together, arms at sides. Jump the feet out wide while sweeping the arms overhead, then jump back as the arms return. Land softly on the balls of the feet with soft knees and keep a steady, rhythmic pace. Breathe rhythmically for the prescribed time.

ii.

Why It Works

A low-skill, full-body raiser that increases core temperature, heart rate, and blood flow while rehearsing soft, rhythmic landings and limb abduction/adduction to prepare for higher-intensity work.

iii.

Hockey Transfer

A general warm-up raiser that elevates readiness before a session; the repeated soft landings lightly prime the ankle and knee elasticity used in skating and jumping.

iv.
